1. Name the issue
Schapelle Corby who has been sentenced to drug smuggling without any solid proof.

2. Describe one media account of this issue
A related article is on the Sydney Morning Herald talking about how she was found guilty of smuggling drugs into Bali and an insight into the investigation of how the drugs could’ve been placed in Schapelle’s bag or whether she actually did it.

3. Where did you get this media account from?
I got it from the ”Sydney Morning Herald”.

4. Is this media account correct or reliable? Why?
it is reliable and correct because the Sydney Morning Herald is a well known source and is read across Australia and is known for its authenticity.

5. Where else might you be able to find more information about this issue?

You could find it on the Channel Nine website for more articles relating to this social justice issue.

Journal Entry 1

1. Describe TWO things that you have learnt during this lesson.

I have learnt how to make a newspaper article twisting the story and what this tells me is that the media can make you try to believe things which may twist the truth. I also learnt how the media can copy things from other media sources and claim it as their own and risk going to court.

2. Identify TWO areas you want to concentrate on during this project that you think need a greater improvement from the last project.

I need to have better group communication and go through the Entry Document and Group Rubric as a group and make sure everyone has understood everything.

3. Discuss TWO ways in which your group could resolve any disputes during this process.

We can have a vote on things or clarify things with the teacher.

I would because they did the work at a high standard and cooperated.

I put a lot of effort and i was on task. I feel I couldn’t have done better although you can always have improvements

4. Do you think your final wikispace was your best work? Why?

I feel it wasn’t our best work because Sharad did the work in the last minute and Anthony didn’t place his individual task in our Wikispace.

5. What did you think of the project when you received it? Why?

I thought it was great because it was straightforward.

6. What do you think of the project now you have completed it? Why?

I thought it was good because it was straightforward.

I liked it because it was easy to complete.

8. What did you not like in the project? Why?

I didn’t have any dislikes of the project.

9. How can the teachers make your next project better?

The project was good as it is with no improvements needed.
